CAMDEN TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A suspect in a Hillsdale County double homicide investigation was taken into custody just after 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning, about five hours after the shootings took place on Grange Road just north of the Michigan-Ohio state line.
36-year-old Alexander Lee Dombrowski was captured in a nearby bean field and that he was wanted in the shooting deaths of his father and another family member.
Dombrowski was considered armed and dangerous as several area police agencies put out a “be on the lookout” bulletin.
A police scanner report at about 5:15 a.m. indicated multiple shots were fired at the Grange Road location.
Investigators are still putting together the information surrounding the shootings.
