COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Sixteen boaters completed the Coldwater Lake Association’s first safety session of the season on March 21 at the association’s headquarters, led by Branch County Marine Patrol officers.
The in-person course provided practical understanding of maritime laws, including mandatory Boater’s Safety Certificate requirements for operators born on or after July 1, 1996, and those operating personal watercraft born after December 31, 1978.
The next safety class is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 516 Warren Road, with registration details and more information is available on the Coldwater Lake Association website .
