COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater will begin its annual spring hydrant flushing program on Monday, April 20, with staff operating in two shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. to remove sediment from the municipal system.
The work will start in Ward 1, followed by Wards 4, 2, and 3 over the course of the week.
Residents may experience temporary water discoloration and are advised to run their cold water taps until it runs clear.
This process will remove sediment from the system that naturally accumulates.
