COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Citizens Academy recently celebrated the successful conclusion of its latest session, with eight local participants completing a comprehensive seven-week program.
Designed to pull back the curtain on municipal operations, the academy provided an immersive “behind the scenes” look at various City and Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) departments. Through a combination of informative presentations and hands-on facility tours, graduates gained a deeper understanding of the vital services and infrastructure that keep the community running smoothly.
Residents interested in joining the next cohort should mark their calendars for December 2026, when information and applications for the 2027 program will be released. The academy is scheduled to begin in February 2027, with sessions held on Thursday evenings throughout February and March.
