Donald Lee Conine, 67, of Burlington, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, surrounded by his family at his sister’s home in Quincy, under hospice care.
The family will be hosting a celebration of life on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at his sister Vicki’s home, 782 Fisher Road, Quincy, MI 49082, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 PM. If there is rain, the date of the celebration of life will be moved to June 20, 2026, the following Saturday. Interment will be held privately at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Union City. The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Donald was born on May 5, 1958, in Battle Creek to Gerald and Joan (Anderson) Conine. He attended Union City High School. Donald lived at the same home his entire life and worked at Midwest Foundry for 5 years before going to work at Coldwater Veneer as a boiler technician for 25 years, retiring in 2023.
Donald loved riding three wheelers, snowmobiling, cutting wood, tractor pulls, and his fur babies, Lady and Rocko.
Left to cherish Donald’s memory are his siblings, Gary (Robin) Conine of Mobile, AL, Larry (Sherry) Conine of Homer, and Vicki (Jim) Null of Quincy; his brother-in-law, Keith (Zebbra) Palmerton of Union City; good friend, James Allen of Burlington; and his many nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
