MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – A suspect in several larcenies around Marshall is in custody.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says Marshall Police got a report of a stolen vehicle on Tuesday morning which was tracked by OnStar. It was found near a wooded area at the intersection of 15 Mile Road and B Drive South in Fredonia Township.
A Calhoun County Sheriff K9 tracked the suspect to a nearby residence where a search warrant was executed by Sheriff’s Detectives and Marshall Police.
Police say they found stolen property along with a firearm and narcotics.
The 24 year-old Marshall man was booked at the Calhoun County Jail for car theft, possession of stolen property, felon in possession of firearms and narcotics charges.
