HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater played in the second Interstate 8 jamboree of the season Tuesday at The Legacy at Hastings and came in sixth place with an 18-hole team score of 333. Parma Western showed its dominance by shooting a team score of 309 under bad weather conditions for the day.
Coldwater was led by Jack Aker with an 80 followed by Joe Searles with an 83, Jake Fosdick with an 84, and Braydon Wilkins with an 86.
After two jamborees, Coldwater finds itself in sixth place in the I-8 standings, with the Conference Championship set for May 14.
Westher permitting, the Cardinals will be right back in action Wednesday for the Hillsdale Academy Invitational at Stonehedge North in Augusta.

Coldwater also hosted eight teams on Tuesday for a JV jamboree and came away with a fourth place finish with a team score of 182 for the 9-hole event. Marshall won the jamboree by two strokes over Vicksburg, 169 to 171.
Coldwater was led by Wayne Case, whose round of 44 was good enough for 11th place. Cohen Taylor was right behind at 45, Liam Doll had a 46, and Parker Nelson added a round of 47 to the total.
