COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council approved Resolution No. 26-40, authorizing Memorial Day events on Monday, May 25, which include the closure of US-12 and the use of Four Corners Park and Oak Grove Cemetery.
Organized by Jerry Ford and Autumn Billman, the approved plans feature a downtown ceremony at 10:00 a.m. and a subsequent parade to American Legion Post 52.
The day’s schedule includes a 10:45 a.m. bridge ceremony for lost service members and an 11:00 a.m. service at Oak Grove Cemetery.
A luncheon at the American Legion Hall is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. to conclude the commemorative events.
