QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – After weather delays sidelined the scheduled season opener last weekend, Butler Motor Speedway is finally set to roar back to life for its official opening night on Saturday.
Last Saturday’s planned events were postponed due to heavy rain and unworkable track conditions.
Track officials made the early call to cancel to save traveling crews from making unnecessary hauls, but with the forecast cleared and the official schedule updated, “The World’s Fastest 3/8-Mile Dirt Track” is ready for action.
The highly anticipated opening night will feature a high-octane lineup including 410 Winged Sprints, UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks, and 4-Cylinders.
Pit gates are scheduled to open at 3:00 PM, with grandstand gates following at 4:00 PM and racing officially starting at 7:30 p.m..
Fans can look forward to seeing local stars like 2025 champion Jason Blonde begin their title defense as the speedway kicks off its historic 2026 summer season.
