Goldie I. Kline, 95, of Bronson passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Beacon Health in Kalamazoo.
A service will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Deacon John Wielgos officiating.
A visitation will be held Monday, May 11, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m.. Interment will take place at Matteson Cemetery.
Goldie was born July 23, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Elizabeth (Mayarush) Young. She graduated from Port Huron High School in 1949.
For 43 years, Goldie made her home on Matteson Lake, where she enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of lake life. Goldie was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family and home.
She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was a member of the Rose Society years ago and generously gave her time volunteering with the Cancer Society and assisting at the Bronson voting precinct and donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Goldie will be lovingly remembered for her warm heart and incredible cooking. She truly loved preparing meals for family gatherings, holidays, and neighbors, always making everyone feel welcome around her table.
She also found great joy in gardening, especially tending to her beautiful roses, which reflected the same care and attention she gave to those she loved.
Goldie is survived by her children William “Billy” McCoy Jr. of Battle Creek, Rosalyn Mohney of Kalamazoo, and Brian (Carol) McCoy of Sturgis; her grandchildren Nichelle (Leo) Guzman, Derek Mohney, Tricia (Jason Reimens) Mohney, Melissa McCoy, Chris (Shawn) Kelly; 10 great grandchildren; and her significant other Joseph Czjakowski.
Goldie was preceded in death by her son Robbie McCoy; her siblings Frank Young, Rose Belger, John Young, Rosemary Johnson, Joe Young; step grandson Ronnie Whitsel; and former husband William McCoy, Sr.
