WASHINGTON, May 14 (Reuters) – U.S. Secretary ‌of State Marco Rubio ‌said in ⁠an interview ⁠broadcast on Thursday that the United States ⁠is ⁠hoping for a positive response from ‌China on U.S. ⁠appeals for the release ⁠of ‌jailed ⁠media tycoon Jimmy ‌Lai and others.
