Janice Lee “Jan” Clark, 79, of Quincy passed away Friday, May 29, 2026 at Insight Hospital and Medical Center Coldwater.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service at Fisher Hill Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
She was born January 11, 1947 in McComb, OH to William and Olethia (Parkins) Beltz. She married Gerald “Jerry” Clark November 23, 1968, and he survives.
Jan was the daughter of a military family and spent much of her childhood traveling and relocating to various places throughout the country. She graduated from Liberty Benton High School in Ohio. Jan dedicated 33 years of service to Acorn Manufacturing in Quincy before later joining the Branch District Library system, where she served as manager of the Algansee Branch until her retirement.
In her spare time, Jan loved visiting the zoo and feeding the birds at her home. She also enjoyed taking rides in the country with her husband, Jerry. Jan was well known and loved throughout the community.
Surviving besides her husband, Jerry are two daughters, Jerri (Dana Starr) Clark and Jessica (Thomas) Hantz II; granddaughters, Kezia Wilson and Brittany Hantz; sister, Vickie (Chuck) Seiler; and several relatives that are still here and gone, many loved nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Olethia Beltz.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Animal Aid of Branch County.
