COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Drivers in Michigan are paying an average of four-dollars-one-cent per gallon to start the week. Triple-A Michigan says that is the lowest average price statewide since April and it is down 18-cents a gallon from last week. The price is down 73-cents in the past month, but remains 72-cents more than last year. While the national average stands at $3.92
The average in Branch County has hit is lowest level in over two months at $3.89 per gallon Slightly more than Hillsdale Counties average of $3.85 and $3.88 in St Joseph County. Calhoun Counties average is at $3.87 per gallon.
Energy Secretary Chris Wright says we should see energy prices continue to fall.
Indiana continues to have the lowest average price in the nation at $3.32 per gallon Many stations in Steuben County were as low as $3.12 per gallon this morning.
