ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Even though remaining idle, the University of Michigan men’s basketball team is still number four in this week’s Coaches Basketball Poll. The school has paused all sports to deal with COVID-19 issues within the athletic department.
U of M, 13-and-1 overall and 8-and-1 in the Big Ten, will not play until at least February 11 when it is scheduled to host Illinois.
The top-four spots remain unchanged in this week’s poll. Gonzaga, Baylor, Villanova and Michigan rank one through four, with Houston up one spot to fifth. Texas is sixth, followed by Alabama, Iowa, Ohio State and Tennessee.
