QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Would your boat pass inspection? Boaters on the Marble Chain of Lakes will have a chance Sunday to find out, as the Branch County Marine Patrol will conduct free inspections, at the request of the Marble Chain of Lakes Improvement Association.
The free boat safety inspections will run from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Wildwood Drive Public Access on Marble Lake, across from Corn Island.
Those boats approved will receive a boat inspection sticker. Those boats not approved will be given a list of items that need to be addressed. No citations will be issued for those that don’t pass inspection that day.
