KINDERHOOK, MI (WTVB) – Traffic on I-69 south of Coldwater was messed up for awhile Thursday as a crane overturned and a truck got stuck north of the Kinderhook exit.
It’s a section of I-69 that’s under construction right now.
The interstate had to be shut down while the crane was uprighted.
It was part of a challenging day for Branch County drivers. Not only did they have to deal with the slowdowns on I-69, but a portion of M-86 was closed as crews replaced a failed culvert near Webb Road.
M-86 is being used as a detour while U.S. 12 is being repaved between Bronson and Coldwater.
For some, that meant they had to use two detours to get to their destination.
