LAKE JAMES, IN (WTVB) – Talk show host, comedian and Indiana native David Letterman was in our area this week.
The Herald-Republican of Angola, Indiana reported that Letterman stayed at Pokagon State Park’s Potawatomi Inn. He also found time to visit a pair of Lake James restaurants, Jimmy’s on James and Mad Anthony’s Lakeview Ale House, where he mingled with the patrons.
Many took pictures with Letterman and posted them on their social media pages.
He was a late night TV host for 33 years before departing CBS in May 2015.
Letterman came out of retirement last January to host a talk show on Netflix.
