COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – American Copper and Brass with locations in Coldwater and Hillsdale and Qualite Sports Lighting in Hillsdale are sponsoring a team in the Air Race Classic, which started Tuesday in Texas.
The event is an all-woman, daylight-only race. Over 120 female pilots are trying to navigate a 2,500 mile course from Sweetwater, Texas to Fryeburg, Maine over four days.
The local businesses are sponsoring a plane being piloted by Rachael Khoury and Tiffany Brown.
The duo will be traveling in a 1962 Cessna 182E.
