BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Transportation has announced that in conjunction with the bridge removal project over the Indiana Northeastern Railroad, there will be single-lane closures under flag control for resurfacing between Bronson and Coldwater on U.S. 12 from Friday, June 22 through Friday, July 27, 2018.
Almost 10 miles of U.S. 12 is being repaved between Bronson and Coldwater. The $2.4 million project includes the removal of the bridge over the Indiana Northeastern Railroad near Batavia Road.
The work also includes new concrete curb and gutters, the upgrading of guardrails, drainage improvements, new signs and pavement markings.
Construction started in late April. The anticipated completion date is July 30, 2018.
