QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Road Commission is working to assure last weekends heavy rains did not compromise several roads that succumbed to flash flooding after more than five inches of rain fell including three inches in less than three hours.
Manager Jay Miller says they are not only monitoring the roads but also looking at ways to enhance the drainage in that area
Miller says as of now he doesn’t see any long term issues with the roads and is hoping to have them all back open yet this week
Miller says they will work with the County drain commission in an effort to diminish any further issues in that area.
