COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – HECO out of Kalamazoo has acquired Reliability Concepts, LLC, and Alignment Supplies, Inc., taking ownership of key operations, including a facility in Coldwater, as well as a location in Maumee, Ohio, to expand its predictive maintenance and vibration analysis services in the Midwest.
This transaction, marking HECO’s fifth acquisition in the sector since 2013, integrates the new team into HECO’s Predictive Service Group and expands its network to 10 service centers.
A key part of the acquisition is the B.A.T. Belt Alignment Tool, a laser-based belt alignment system designed to help maintenance teams quickly and accurately align belt-driven equipment.
HECO will continue Reliability Concepts’ existing products while also expanding sales, marketing, training, and support around the B.A.T. Belt Alignment Tool, DigiBelt, FIN-LOC, and other related offerings.
The acquisition enhances HECO’s portfolio with specialized, e-commerce-driven reliability products and strengthens its ability to support industrial customers with advanced maintenance solutions.
HECO President Justin Hatfield highlighted the addition of experienced personnel to their team, while Reliability Concepts founder Mike Olszewski will assist in the transition to ensure continued customer support.
