COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The price of a gallon of gas in Michigan is down one-cent from last week. Triple-A Michigan says the statewide average is now $3.93 , 28-cents less than last month and 67-cents more than a year ago.
In Branch County we are at an average of $3.94 per gallon, Hillsdale County has one of the lowest averages in the state at $3.79 per gallon it’s $3.88 in St Joseph County.
Indiana continues to have the lowest gas prices in the nation $3.23 per gallon that’s up nearly 20-cents from last week in the Hoosier state.
Analyst are predicting we could soon see another jump in gas prices soon, after to falling to under $68 per barrel last week, oil prices are up to begin the new work week at nearly $75 per barrel.
The national average for gas this morning is up slightly to $3.87 per gallon.
