LAGRANGE COUNTY, INDIANA (WTVB) – The Indiana State Police say the discovery of human skeletal remains in LaGrange County back in April were those of a woman who has been missing for almost six years.
The remains have been identified as 47 year old Tiffany A. Huffman, who had been reported as a missing person and had last been seen in the Stroh, Indiana area July 20, 2012.
The LaGrange County Coroner has not determined a cause of death, but at this time, foul play is not suspected.
The remains were found by a property owner near the LaGrange-Steuben County line.
Because of the body’s decomposition, DNA testing along with an anthropological exam had to be conducted to determine the manner of death and the person’s identity.
The investigation is continuing.
