COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The National Weather Service says heavy rainfall may cause flooding through Saturday night for Branch County and other nearby counties.
There could be rainfall totals through Saturday night of up to two inches with locally much higher amounts.
Local flooding is likely, especially where any storms
track over the same areas. Rises on rivers are also likely along with some river flooding and flooding of low lying areas.
If you live along streams and rivers or in any flood prone area, remain alert to this flooding potential.
The forecast for more rain this weekend comes after Coldwater has gotten rain on 17 days since the first of May.
If the forecast holds true, it will mean rain in Branch County on four of the last five weekends.
