COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A prominent gas industry expert warns gas prices are about the make a substantial jump.
This week, the head petroleum analysis at GasBuddy Patrick De Haan said that in about a week, Americans are “going to see new all-time records set for highest August gas prices ever, even compared to 2022.”
Gas prices in the U.S. are up by over 30-percent since the start of the war with Iran.
Today the average gas price in Michigan has jumped to $4.27, that’s up 4-cents since Monday in Branch County the average this morning is up to $4.33 per gallon after falling just under $3.per gallon earlier this week.
The all-time record high for Michigan was is $5.22 per gallon set in June of 2022
