COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The John Rohloff Coldwater Exchange Club Duck Race recently generated a major boost for local foster children, presenting an $11,500 donation to the Royal Family KIDS Camp.
This week representatives Sandy and Brian Sexton accepted the funds, which represent one-third of the annual race’s total proceeds.
The Sextons expressed their profound gratitude for the community’s support, noting that 100 percent of the donation goes directly toward camp operations. Because the organization is entirely volunteer-run with no paid staff, every dollar directly funds a week of love, encouragement, and mentorship for children described by organizers as “the least, the last, and the left behind.”
Funds were also distributed to Oaklawn Hospice, and the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.
