COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – With frigid weather expected to move for the weekend, the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center at the corner of West Chicago and Clay Street in Coldwater will be opening its doors this Saturday as an emergency warming center.
Coach Eby Youth and Family Center Office Coordinator Rachel Everett says they will be open 24 hours a day.
Volunteers are needed to staff the warming center around the clock and to assist people when they arrive.
Food is also needed but the center is asking for gift cards to ensure they are compliant with COVID-19 protocols.
Those who wish to volunteer can call 278-5031 or message the center’s Facebook page with times they are available.
