(LENNEWAY COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Tanya Zuvers, the ex-wife of triple murder suspect John Skelton, was the first witness called to the stand yesterday at his preliminary hearing on charges of killing their three sons 16-years ago. She was asked when she became concerned for the boys.
She testified that he wanted the family to move to Florida in September 2010, saying there were better job opportunities, but she refused.
Zuvers says the boys were settled in their community, her family and friends were in southeast Michigan, and John was always “very jealous” of her relationship with her families and her daughters.

Skelton is accused of killing the three young boys when he had custody of them for Thanksgiving in 2010. He’s currently serving a 15-year sentence. The boys have not been found.
