COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency has announced that over 11,000 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in their jurisdiction as of last Tuesday, February 2.
There have been 3,526 vaccines administered in Branch County. That number includes 2,977 Moderna vaccines and 549 vaccines from Pfizer.
Of the 4,552 vaccines administered in Hillsdale County, 3,302 have been from Pfizer while 1,250 have been from Moderna.
A total of 3,093 vaccines have been administered in St. Joseph County with 2,485 of vaccines from Moderna and 608 from Pfizer.
The Community Health Agency says the data will be updated on its web site every week.
More COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be held in all three counties of the Health Agency’s jurisdiction this week. They are scheduled to take place on Wednesday at Hillsdale College’s Searle Center, on Thursday at the Dearth Community Center in Coldwater and on Friday at Sturgis High School.
On line appointments will open up at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning.
The Health Agency is currently offering vaccinations to health care workers and long term care workers and residents, seniors 65 years of age and older, childcare and PreK-12 educational staff, front-line essential workers (police, firefighters, corrections workers, inspectors) and those in congregate care facilities.
