The would be casino resort would be located just thee miles from the Michigan/ Indiana state line, organizers announced that detailed architectural renderings are underway for major facilities, which include a lakefront lodge, a lakeview waterpark and spa, a slow-moving Freedom Paddle-Wheel Ferry, and a Sky Watch Ranger Station equipped with state-line weather observation.
The comprehensive layout also features lakeview overlooks, a covered bridge, controlled entrances, “green” family areas, a set-back golf course with a tournament chip-and-putt, nature trails, and observation decks.
Billed as a protective framework for the future of Steuben County, the project sets itself apart by placing environmental protections, lakefront stewardship, and rural character preservation at the center of its model as the group touts in a promotional video
