COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – What started out as a temporary solution to a parking problem in downtown Coldwater may become permanent.
The Coldwater Downtown Development Authority Board Wednesday voted in favor of making one way traffic on one block of South Monroe south of U.S. 12 permanent.
Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker told the board that there has been positive feedback to the one way street, which was originally intended to accommodate additional angled parking while the Chandler Plaza parking lot is undergoing a construction project.
