COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A collision Wednesday in Coldwater on US 12 at Western Avenue was initially reported to 911 as an injury accident but it turned out nobody was hurt in the two vehicle crash that happened right ahead of the morning rush hour.
A preliminary report by Coldwater City Police indicates a car westbound on US 12 hit the other car which officers say had run the red light at Western Avenue.
The accident remains under investigation. No names were released and there were no passengers in either vehicle.
Life Care Ambulance and the Coldwater Fire Department also responded to the scene of the collision which happened around 5:20 Wednesday morning.
