PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – An armed man who triggered a multi-agency manhunt and shelter-in-place order in Pennfield Township, is now in police custody.
That incident began Wednesday evening, prompting law enforcement from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, and tribal police to secure the Darlene Lane and Pickford Avenue area.
Though the initial lockdown was lifted after a neighborhood sweep, the suspect remained at large until this morning just before 8 a.m., when the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office confirmed his apprehension without further incident.
Police have not said what information led to them to the suspect.
