COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Board of Directors approved a new tentative collective bargaining contract agreement between the United Steelworkers Local 14178, the City of Coldwater, and the CBPU Wednesday night.
The action came after the board discussed the proposed contract for about a half hour in a closed session.
The new contract replaces the old one that was adopted in July 2023.
The board authorized their President Chris Stevens and Director Paul Jakubczak to sign the agreement upon City Council approval and final legal review after a motion from board member Jill Smoker
Details of the agreement were not immediately released.
