JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s girls golf team won the Parma Western Invitational Tuesday at Arbor Hills Golf Club. The Cardinals recorded a team score of 363, nine strokes ahead of runner-up Tecumseh.
Individually, Coldwater had three golfers finish in the top ten, led by medalist Aubrey Eberts, who finished with an 18-hole score of 81. Teammate Alivia Arnold tied with Tecumseh’s Sydney Walsh for second, with both shooting an 87. Payton Longstreet’s round of 95 was good enough for a sixth place tie, and Harper Anglin carded a 99 to earn a tie for 14th. McKinley Earles was forced to withdraw from the event after spraining her wrist.
The Cardinals return to action next Monday for the next Interstate 8 jamboree, hosted by Pennfield at Marywood Golf Course.
