ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – Trine University has officially shattered its previous enrollment records by welcoming a record-breaking freshman class of more than 760 new students to its Angola campus for the fall semester.
This historic influx pushes the university’s total student body in Angola to more than 2,200 individuals.
As reported by Trine University, the institution “welcomed a record incoming class of more than 760 new students to its Angola campus this fall,” eclipsing the previous benchmark of 754 set in 2023.
University officials attribute this sustained growth to widespread recognition of Trine’s career-focused academic programs, generous financial aid, and exceptional post-graduation employment outcomes.
The enrollment surge is not limited to the main campus, as Trine is also seeing explosive growth in its specialized offerings. Enrollment at the university’s Fort Wayne health professions campus is projected to rise by nearly 20% compared to last year.
In a news release shared by Inside Indiana Business, Trine President Tony Kline expressed gratitude for the growth, stating, “Our commitment continues to be to provide a premier student learning and living experience and an outstanding return on investment”.
With additional double-digit gains expected in its dual enrollment programs, Trine continues to solidify its reputation as one of the region’s fastest-growing private institutions.
