Quincy boys soccer drops 5-2 decision against Hillsdale

QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’s boys soccer team fell to 1-5-2 on the season as they lost to visiting Hillsdale 5-2 Wednesday.

The Hornets broke a 2-2 halftime tie with three unanswered goals in the second half despite getting outshot by the Orioles 13-8.

Quincy’s goals came from a Blaik Pearce penalty kick and an Evan Yeakey chip shot. Goalie Dane Johnson recorded six saves.

The Orioles will compete at the Leslie Invitational on Saturday.
