SHANGHAI, Sept 17 (Reuters) – Huawei Technologies will launch two new artificial-intelligence chips in 2027, rotating chairman David Wang said on Thursday, as the Chinese company expands its push into AI computing.
Huawei plans to launch the 960DT in the first quarter and the Ascend 960PR in the third quarter.
Wang said its UnifiedBus technology would be key to Huawei’s next generation of large AI computing systems, helping connect large numbers of chips to work together. He added that Huawei had shipped more than 1,000 such systems to more than 370 customers.
