COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -The Michigan Department of Transportation says pavement work on a seven mile stretch of I-69 south of Coldwater to the Indiana State line is scheduled to start June 4, 2018.
The work will force the closing of one lane of the interstate on both sides until the scheduled conclusion of the $3.3 million project August 17, 2018.
The work will include pavement repairs as well as grinding, grooving, joint resealing, permanent pavement markings and underdrain cleaning.
MDOT says the project will make the pavement on that portion of I-69 more durable and smoother.
