MATTESON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – While the U.S. 12 repaving project between Coldwater and Bronson which includes the removal of of the 81-year-old Indiana Northeastern railroad bridge has gotten a lot of attention, there is a bridge replacement project in Matteson Township that is just getting underway this week.
The Branch County Road Commission says Lindley Road over Little Swan Creek is closed for the project.
The road is scheduled to reopen to traffic in the middle of September.
The detour route is Lindley to Culver Road to West Colon Road to Lyter Road to Lindley Road.
