HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school track and field Monday, Coldwater wrapped up an undefeated Interstate 8 Conference dual meet schedule with a 91-71 victory at Hastings. Coldwater winners were Adam Bailey (200, 300 hurdles), Matt Gipple (400), Kyle Foulk (800), Ben Fagen (1600) and Dylan Targgart (shot put, discus).
Coldwater also finished first in the 800, 1600 and 3200 relays.
Union City hosted Concord and Homer on Monday. Team scores were unavailable. Union City winners were Gavin Hooker (100, 200), Chad Bruce (110 hurdles) and Josh Watson (high jump)
In girls track and field, Coldwater closed out their Interstate 8 Conference dual meet season with a 106 ½- 56 ½ victory at Hastings. Cardinal winners were Claire Sheppard (100, long jump), Kathy Potter (400), Elka Machan (800), Cecelia DeWitt (3200), Jasmine Wellet (100 hurdles, 300 hurdles) and Kaci White (shot put, discus).
Coldwater won the 400, 1600 and 3200 relays.
Union City hosted Concord and Homer on Monday. Team scores were unavailable. Union City winners were Hope Austin (100), Bracy Swift (200, long jump), Lillian Bambacht (400), Taylor Vrooman (3200) and Lexi George (100 hurdles). Union City won all four relay races.
