Travis John Brauker, 45, of Canoga Park, CA, formerly of Bronson, MI, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026 at his home in California.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
Travis was born November 8, 1980 in Coldwater, MI to Dennis & Tammy (Harper) Brauker. He graduated from Bronson High School in 1999 and attended Michigan State University. He later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology & Justice from California State University, Northridge in 2024.
Travis currently worked for Seasons Recovery Center in Malibu, CA. Previously he had worked for Fastenal, Gold’s Gym, the Branch County Sheriff’s Department and the Marine Patrol.
Travis was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed every opportunity to experience the beauty and adventure of nature. Hiking, mountain biking and snowboarding where just a few of his favorites. He loved traveling and discovering new things and had visited many exotic locations.
Travis had a passion for martial arts. He trained in Jiu Jitsu where he held a blue belt and through dedication, discipline and determination, he earned his black belt in Kenpo Karate. He had competed in many competitions where his achievements and awards were numerous.
Travis is survived by his parents Denny & Tammy Brauker of Bronson; his brother Dustin (Jessica) Brauker of Ruskin, FL; his nephews Hayden and Jackson; aunts and uncles Bunnee Smoker of Bronson, Dirinda Maddy of Daytona, FL, Julie (Rick) Perry of Sandy, UT, Randy (Jenny) Harper of Coldwater, Sharon Mynhier of Bronson and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Elwood & Diana Harper, Maxine Kime and Ralph Brauker; aunts and uncles Dot Haack, Bill Haack, Dan Smoker and his cousin Jamie Smoker.
