COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After 23 years of service for the City of Coldwater, Fire Marshal Steve Trall is set to retire next week.
Trall has spent the last eight years of his career as Fire Marshall. Aside from investigating fires, he has a big proponent of educating the public. Trall says one of the initiatives he’s most proud of was launching the department’s fire extinguisher safety program.
Continuing with his passion for the education portion of the job, Trall says one of his last assignments will be touring Coldwater schools over the next week to conduct fire safety presentation as part of Fire Safety month.
He says will miss the comradery and friendships he’s developed over the years.
And he says there are things he won’t miss so much
Jackie Supianoski will take over the Fire Marshal position upon Trall’s retirement. She is a 19 year veteran of the fire service.
