COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Showcase Gardens First Annual Fall Festival has officially arrived, bringing a month-long celebration of food, games, and seasonal activities every Saturday this October.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of ongoing attractions available at their leisure, including a straw maze, bounce house, corn hole, Tic-tac-toe, and Connect Four. To complete the festive experience, a delicious selection of fresh donuts, baked goods, hot spiced cider, hot cocoa, and coffee will be available for purchase.
Additionally, you can enter a raffle for a chance to win an exciting trip to the Battle Creek ice cream convention, where they can sample hundreds of flavors and help select the vendor’s menu for next season.
Raffle tickets are priced at $3.00 each or two for $5.00, with the final drawing taking place on October 31st.
Each weekend features a unique themed event, kicking off on October 10th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Pumpkin Carving and Painting, where guests can use provided supplies and staff assistance to craft a unique jack-o’-lantern for an $8.00 pumpkin fee.
Next up is Kids Day on October 17th from 11:00 a.m.to 7:00 p.m, a free event featuring a scavenger hunt, a photo area with friendly goats, and food from the Big Daddyz Eats food truck.
On October 24th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. , the festival hosts a Chili Cook-Off paired with live music by Joe Renshaw; entry into the contest is free, while tasting and judging costs $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.
The festivities culminate on October 31st at 2:00 p.m. with an Ice Cream Auction, giving those who attend the perfect opportunity to bid on and take home their favorite flavors before they close for the season.
