JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – Union City improved to 6-0 overall and in the Big 8 as they shut out East Jackson in dominating fashion, 71-0. The Chargers led 24-0 after the first quarter and 56-0 at halftime.
Trey McDonald had four carries for 119 yards and three touchdowns, while Kenny Case also ran for two scores.
Union City will travel to Springport next Friday in a battle for first place in the conference.
QUINCY, MI – The Irish from Mount Pleasant’s Sacred Heart Academy made the long road trip to Quincy and spoiled the Orioles’ Homecoming with a 43-36 win.
Quincy fell to 4-2 overall and will host cross-county rival Bronson next Friday.
