COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Stockbridge Panthers claimed the 2026 Big 8 Conference boys soccer championship after Monday’s league games, which saw Stockbridge beat Bronson 5-3 and Quincy defeat Maple Valley 4-2. Coming into Monday’s action, the Vikings and Lions were tied for first in the conference at 3-1-1, while the Panthers were a half-game back at 3-2.
At Coldwater High School, Brier Green, Ryan Green, and Ithan Granados scored for Bronson against Stockbridge.
Bronson fell to 5-7-1 overall and finished 3-2-1 in the Big 8, tied with Maple Valley for second place. The Vikings will be at Potterville next Thursday and at Lenawee Christian next Monday to wrap up the regular season.
Quincy improved to 2-9-2 overall and 1-5 in the Big 8. The Orioles travel to Cassopolis on Wednesday, play in a round-robin tournament at Leslie on Saturday, and host Blissfield next Monday to close out the regular season.
