COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The downtown Coldwater building that used to house the North Woods Coffee Company until it closed this past February has been sold.
The buyers are the owners of the Jalisco’s Grocery at 41 West Chicago. The realtor who handled the sale said the closing took place last week.
It’s estimated it will be a couple of months before renovation work is completed which will turn the former coffee house into a grocery store that sells Mexican food products.
Jalisco’s Grocery has been in Coldwater since 2001.
Management for the North Woods, which used to operate in the old J.B. Branch Building, said in February they closed due to finances and the state of the building.
