QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Brian Preston was interviewed and chosen by the Quincy Community Schools Board of Education during a special meeting Monday night to fill a vacancy on the board.
Preston will serve out the term of Tom Bean who served on the board for 10 years before he passed away last month.
In addition, the school board approved a contract with new Superintendent Marc Kramer.
The board voted 6-0 on April 19th to select the Mendon Middle/High School Principal to be the district’s next superintendent. Kramer was one of 19 applicants for the position.
Kramer will start his new job July 1, 2018.
