COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners is scheduled during their meeting Tuesday to name Airport Board chairman Joseph Best as the new manager of the Branch County Memorial Airport.
Best would get a one year deal to run airport operations starting June 1, 2018 with an annual compensation of over $13,000.
He, along with Gregory Russell, were the final two candidates for the position. They were interviewed last Thursday by the county commissioners.
The manager’s job became open after Dean VanNasdale decided not to renew his contract.
