BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Now that Brad Washburn’s body has been found after he was reported as missing in early March, the second guessing of how the Bronson Police Department handled his disappearance is in full swing.
Washburn was found dead in a wooded area in Branch County’s Matteson Township last Friday just 130 yards from the spot where his abandoned pick-up was found February 21, 2018.
Bronson Police asked for the public’s help on March 6th saying his whereabouts were unknown.
Branch County Undersheriff Keith Eichler told WWMT-TV that the Bronson Police Department had a search team and dogs looking for Washburn when his vehicle was found.
The preliminary autopsy report says Washburn did not show any signs of trauma and that he died from exposure. Results of toxicology tests will be reported at a later time.
